Impact has converted over to the new World Handicap System (WHS)

The way that a Course Handicap is calculated has changed with the WHS.

A player’s Course Handicap is calculated as:
(Handicap Index) x (Slope Rating of the tee played / 113) + (Course Rating – Par)

The resulting figure is rounded off to the nearest whole number (.5 or more is rounded upward).

Single Round Matchplay: In order to make the single round matchplay easier we have removed the bracket view.

Online Registration: New this year we are releasing a beta version of our online registration.
This year we are offering clients a chance to try this initial version in order to help give us feedback and to grow the product.

We have released a new software update which includes exciting new features:

Golf Canada Integration: This is a simple and automatic way to update your club players indexes and send
entered scores back to Golf Canada! No more pulling reports to update club players,
simply update directly within Impact. Watch the Golf Canada video or visit our “How do I”  page to find out how.

Pari-Mutuels: After hearing feedback from you, our clients we have added more options to make it more flexible
for your club events. We now offer a “Full” or “Percentage” option with up to 5 places for Pari-Mutuel games!

League Updates: In order to make the league module more functional we have added more league options.
You can now bring team scores (scrambles, etc.) into your league to count towards league points.

Teams Apart: You can now create events within Impact where team members can be scored together but can
play on different starting holes/tee times.

We have launched our Pari-Mutuel module.
Please update your software including Crystal Reports to give it a try!

Please update both your Scoring and Presentation Software.
We have switched servers so some of your old links won’t work until you update.
We have also revamped the League portion, added the ability to create
a week 1 league index from the players first tournament and added
auto backup options for your database both locally and on the cloud!

Please update your Scoring and Presentation Software to the latest 1.10.0 Version.
We have added Real Time Wireless Scoring, Individual Match play and other exciting features.
